Okay, sue me, I’m pathetic. I’ve been Imagine Nation for so long already, but this was my first debut with the studio. XD I’ve been to debuts, sure, but the last time was way back in 2003/2004, so well… let’s just say it’s been a while. And yes, no doubt you’re wondering why it took me a long time to post this. Well… just because.

This debut was cool, it had a Broadway theme. Ms. Pooh and her amazing team of coordinators were in charge of the whole event, so let’s just say there was no stress whatsoever. Jesy Alto was Angela’s make-up artist, so it can be said that she just looked gorgeous. And of course, Imagine Nation was covering the event. Need I say more about the quality of the coverage? I didn’t think so. XD

Wedding was 9 am, so we had to be at the hotel 5 am. Oh the humanity! Just kidding. It’s nothing we couldn’t handle. Haha. XD

Preps was at the… you know what, I forgot the name of the hotel, but it was cool, with different lights and colored walls, so it just woke me up a bit and got excited for the shoot.

Why does the crust of the buko pie have no taste? What’s the point then? What is its use in the buko pie, or any pie for that matter? At least pizza crusts (some anyway) are flavored. I mean, I know it takes a while to make the crust, but then why make it if no one will really want to eat it?

Just wondering. XD

So, I’ve been talking to a friend who’s been reading “Twilight”… wait, correction, a friend who’s OBSESSED with the “Twilight” books, you know, featuring Edward Cullen and Bella Swan, and you know, a movie’s coming out based on the first book and… wait, you do know what I’m talking about, right?  If you don’t… get out from that cave you currently live in, and join the world, please. 

So anyway, apparently, in the book, Edward like totally full head-on courts Bella, that all the girls who read the books had their standards raised when it comes to being courted by guys.  In the States at least.  And so now guys are complaining about the book.  Poor guys.  XD  So now, what can they do, right?  I mean, even real girls are falling in love with a fictional character.  That’s not right anymore.  XD

See, what they should do is read the book, so they can discover the Edward method of courting girls.  I’ve browsed through it, and read up to Chapter 6.  Okay, so here’s the method.  Guys, take notes. 

1.  When you see the girl for the first time, go look at her in an evil way, a way so evil that she will wonder what is wrong with her, and feel insecure about herself.  Then make sure she sees that you want to get far away from her as possible.  Haha.

2.  The next week, go act all normal and stuff, like you weren’t staring at her in a hateful way just the other week.  Then you know, go talk to her and stuff.  Be normal.

3.  The next step would be to be able to save her from a fatal car accident in a way that’s so mysterious, she will be so intrigued.  Well, the saving the life thing can already make her fall in love with you, but you have to save her in a way that’s so cool, and mysterious, that she will wonder how you did it, and chase you.

4.  Of course, you have to keep her intrigued, so be pissed off and all when she keeps asking about how you did it.  Just be vague, never tell her anything.  Oh, and cheesy lines work too.  XD

5.  Then when she pesters you about it some more, piss her off first, and then suddenly treat her nicely.  That will make her mind blank.  And she will wonder how is it that you can make her mind blank just by doing that.

6.  Oh, and before you even do step one, make sure that you’re completely gorgeous, and that you’re a day-walking vampire. 

Good luck with that guys.  XD  You can do it!  (You hope.  Haha.)

Too bad I don’t have the book.  I’d quote unbelievably cheesy lines.  XD

I’m really getting discouraged.

Every day in every way they get more and more uglier.  It’s like I haven’t learned anything at all.  So now I don’t know if this is meant for me and I just have to be more patient and stop being so hard on myself and just keep on chasing the dream, and I’m just being tested, or if this is His way of telling me I’m not meant to be one, and I only got in in the first place so that He could show me that…

Perhaps I have the heart, but unfortunately, in the real world, it takes more than heart.

I won’t accept the fact either that my tools are old and aren’t good enough anymore.  I claim all responsibility for that.  After all, it’s still the one who uses the tool who comes up with the results, not the tool itself.  I accept that it’s my fault, and that perhaps I don’t learn quickly enough, or I’m too stubborn to accept change.  Are my recent failures also because I don’t really do it for Him, and I only think I am?  Or is it because I want to do it for Him, but just don’t know how, and that’s why I don’t succeed?

I just don’t know anymore…

But don’t worry.  Kung sa tingin niyo malakas na ako manlait ng ibang tao, sisiw pa rin ‘yon sa kung gaano kalakas ang panlalait ko sa sarili ko.  After all, no one can make you feel bad other than yourself ‘di ba?

So kung manlait ako sa ibang tao, mabait pa ako nun. 

(Besides, I don’t lait for just any reason.  Haha.  ‘Di naman ako ganun.  Except maybe to myself.  XD)

No, not rocket-propelled grenades.  Never played with those things, most likely never will, and I don’t think they’re for playing anyway.

What I mean is/are (ano ba ang tama?  Damn my English) role playing games on Playstation/PS2.  I miss playing all the Final Fantasies I’ve played (that sounds bad), as well as Breath of Fire III, IV, Grandia (which I’ve never finished), Tales of Destiny (short but cute)… I also want to play Xenogears, and maybe Valkyrie profile and Suikoden… Yes, this is nerd talk.  Haha.  I mean, I have Diablo on my laptop, but it gets kind of repetetive and boring after a while, even with so many different character options.  Maybe I miss all that Japanese animation and great stories.  Sure, all of them are pretty much about just saving the world, but I like them all anyway.

Who’s gonna be nice enough to lend me their PS/PS2?  HAHAHA.  May mga Wii at PS3 na naman kayo lahat diyan eh.  XD  Ako wala.  Sira pa PS ko.  Pahiram na lang.  And all those nice games that can be lent.

One thing more about RPGs?  Well, they’re a great escape from reality, even if just for a moment.  Sure, they can get kind of tedious, especially with all the leveling up that you have to do, and all those bloody monsters that are hard to kill, but at least in an RPG, you’re a hero that can do no wrong (unless you die I guess, and yes, even if the character you are playing is a really screwed up person) and life won’t move on until you actually want it to move on, so you can procrastinate as long as you like.  There’s no pressure in finishing the game; finish it when you want to (although me, personally, can’t wait that long, hahahaha).  And at least when you finish the story, it’s done, and you can stop thinking about it.

Not like real life (because, unfortunately, while real life can actually be more exciting than an RPG, well, it also has a bigger probability of sucking a whole LOT more).

Random note: Swimming is more fun and enjoyable with goggles.  XD  Kasi hindi masakit sa mata.  Haha.
