You learn something new.

For example, did you know that curling irons are supposed to be safer if they are made of ceramic and not metal?  And supposedly ceramic makes the hair shine.  And that the better ones have more heat settings to offer, so you can control the heat better.  And uh… they come in different sizes.  And they have so many different brands that you wouldn’t know what to choose, especially if you’re a guy.

Wala lang.  I was buying for a friend kasi (hey, I asked her what she wanted for her birthday, and she wanted a curling iron.  No problem.  XD) and hell man, I have no idea what the hell a curling iron looks like.  Akala ko nga yung flat thingy na pamplantsa ng buhok.  But then naisip ko, wait, di ba pang pa diretso ng buhok yun?  Ewan!  Wala akong alam diyan.  So I do what someone in trouble does: ask for assistance from a saleslady.  And so she leads me over to the rack of curling irons.  And I learn facts about the curling iron.

Very fascinating.  XD  Seriously.

I had the privilege of meeting a fashion designer last night.  She’s very nice.  And perky.  Haha. 

Thought: Maybe I should stop being nice for a change.
